Hotty from History #20 - John Trippe (1785 – 1810)
Sorry for this post’s tardiness. I find it hard to do anything other than do revision for my A-Levels, or sit alone in dark corners wondering why I am not doing any more revision (maybe sometimes watching Queer as Folk. I am not a machine.)
Celebrating our 200th follower, tchotchkelove, I present to you John Trippe, who died 200 years ago on a boat.
Now the whole world of seafaring and sailors is a exciting and enticing concept, and I really want to make a sick joke involving seamen, like, I don’t know, something about discharging seamen, or something UNFUNNY like that, because I have no clue on naval terminology.
Yet, John Trippe was a marvellous and handsome captain, to the point where he once boarded a pirate’s boat whilst at sea, grappled with the captain, and then was victorious in capturing the said boat. So, in short, he was the reverse to Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribean, defeating the ugly, bad, bad pirates.

BTW GUYS, for slightly selfish reasons, but maybe perhaps in the interest of blog, it would be really nice and totally awesome if you could possibly recommend us?

Or get your mum to read it and spread it onto her friends like I did. Mums make just as good followers :)
